PROMCOC Project (2021-2022)

The Project “Promoting sustainable agriculture and food security through vemi-composting for the marginalized community in Cambodia (PROMCOC)” with the financial support from the international foundations: STIFUNG NORD-SÜD BRÜCKEN​ and SCHMITZ STIFUNGEN and implemented by ASG Germany in cooperation with its local partner the Environmental Education and Recycling Organization (COMPOSTED) together with the expert from Junlen in mid 2021 to early 2022. It is the capacity building with the pilot project for the vulnerable Islamic group of Ou Kakhob community in Samaky Mean Chey District, Kampong Chhnang Province, which is located in an Islamic community at about 75Km far from Phnom Penh.

The project focus on the awareness on solid waste managment, capacity building and income generation from the organic waste recycling via vemi-composting techniques as well as the pilot project implementation in Samaky Mean Chey Community, Kampong Chhnang province.
